Mandelbrot M.A.D. is a module for the popular AfterDark™ 2.0 screen saver which generates fractal images from the well-known Mandelbrot set. It takes full advantage of math coprocessors and color monitors up to 24-bit, but it will also run on 68000-based, black & white Macs. It has been successfully tested on the Plus, SE, Classic, LC, IIcx, IIci and IIfx, so I guess it should work on the other machines too. Version 1.20 lets you explore the set and zoom in as much as you like to define your own favourite fractal scenes, and a compact on-line help should drive you smoothly through the few dialog boxes you'll have to meet.
